Trying a new area this year and looking for a good local spot to eat dinner after a week in the wilderness. If you have any recommendations for good breakfast before our 20 hour drive home, that would be great too!

Breakfast I would say the Main Bagel, maybe get some for the road. The Railyard and Rib and Chop I think are two of the steak houses. I like the Las Margaritas for Mexican, there are also two Japanese steak house deals. It seems like when my wife makes plans to go somewhere in the big city, I end up working late and come to the restaurant a muddy mess and smelling like a goat (that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with work), but nobody has complained so far.

Oh that's cool. I drive Highway 50 fairly regularly and haven't seen that. I am too busy trying not to run into a water truck I guess. I will have to check that out.

Rib and Chop is the nicest place in town, and serves a really good steak.
Las Compadres is the best Mexican food in town. Big portions and great service.
Humphrey's is great for a big burger.
Pokeys is the best bbq, we have a Dickey's too which is good.
Perkins is probably the best for breakfast. Nothing real amazing here for breakfast but Perkins is good.
