GIVEAWAY!!! Caribou Gear Rifle Cover

2026 is pretty much a repeat of 2025 for me, WA archery deer and elk, WY cow elk rifle, hopefully but unlikely WY general elk archery and rifle, and hopefully MT general elk archery and rifle. Also hoping to do more bird hunting this year and get the kids out for turkey and grouse and maybe deer.

We are running a giveaway for a Caribou Gear Rifle Cover! To enter the giveaway, simply comment below and tell us your big game hunting plans for this year. Where are you applying, where are you hoping to draw, what tags you're hoping to draw, and what method of take.

To be eligible to win, you must have a minimum of five posts on the forum. The contest will run until next Tuesday, March 31st at 12:00pm MST.

For sure plans:
- Moose in northern BC in September, 10 days of hunting - rifle

Highly likely to draw here in Colorado as a resident
- 1st rifle elk
- 2nd rifle elk (cow)
- 2nd or 3rd rifle deer
- 4th rifle deer (private land with bow)

Unlikely but hopeful:
- WY elk, rifle
- CO pronghorn, rifle

Gen deer and elk and hopefully antelope in MT.

Kids deer in mt and sd.

Should pull mtn goat, bighorn ram, and moose in mt this year, too.

WY deer, elk and pronghorn draws. WY bear, mountain lion and wolf otc.
CO- deer (should draw but no guarantee)
TN- deer (lifetime license)
OH- deer (otc)
ND- pheasant

Oregon Archery Elk(I should have enough points to draw). Might get froggy and apply for sheep also.
Montana Bear-bow/rifle, Elk-bow/rifle, Deer-bow/rifle, mtn lion bow/handgun, and will likely not draw my usual applications for Moose, Sheep, Goat and Bison.
I’ll probably be in Idaho this spring also to help a buddy kill his first bear.

Going to be a year of helping others fill their tags and hoping to get lucky in NM. And maybe a CO reissue or two.

Hunting montana generals. I got llamas this year and im hoping to spend a lot of time in the backcountry with them. It will open many possibilities that I have been dreaming of for a while. Focusing on elk and bear this year while I get the little guys trained up.

I’ll definitely be hunting the MT general season. Itching for spring bear and then focusing on elk with my bow early fall and deer with my rifle late fall. Expect to have some antelope and cow hunts to fill the gaps and crossing fingers on all the other species.

I’m also applying for most species in NM, CO, WY, NV, and ID but nothing guaranteed. Hoping for a primo tag or two. I’m considering a lower demand rifle deer hunt in ID or CO but would love to have a different trip get scheduled.

applications for pronghorn, elk, and doe whitetail in wyoming, deer and elk in colorado, and plane tickets to alaska are purchased for caribou.

all rifle.
