Applying for: MT Elk, MT Pronghorn, MT Mule Deer, NC Bear, SC Whitetail, NM Elk, NM Pronghorn, NM Barbary. Hope to draw every one of them. All of these rifle

copying from the original thread -
i'm feeling lucky this year.
i'm going to get a black bear. rifle
i'm going to get a turkey. bow or 870
i'm going to draw arizona elk - if i apply for archery. still undecided (i applied for archery, still didn't draw)
i'm going to draw NM elk, and one of the exotics, probably oryx barbary sheep. archery and rifle
i'm going to draw a mountain goat tag, and keep gaining on moose and sheep rifle
i'm going to kill a bull opening day in MT archery, and a nice whitetail or muley during the rut
i'm going to skip out on idaho elk, but will draw idaho moose rifle
i'm going to draw points in all other states that i apply for
i'm booking my next alaska hunt. either black tail or black bear.

all in all, it should be a decent year. there's a realistic chance i at least draw the permits - a 0.00001581% chance - but i'm saying there's a chance.

Just Colorado, with any luck I’ll be chasing antelope for the first time… I know the muzzleloader tag is an easier draw but I’d prefer the advantage of a rifle for this one (we shall see)

Raghorns and forkies - im a MT resident with gen tags that cost less than half a tank of diesel to get them 😁.

Hunting New Zealand and Kodiak this year with applications in for CA, AZ, NV, and UT for elk, deer and sheep.

Big Game Combo in MT with zero points. Elk, deer and antelope in WY. Maybe OTC elk in UT depending on other draws.

Edit: Looks like UT no longer has OTC tags 😠.

I will be focusing on others' hunts this year (and the foreseeable future).

My oldest son drew a tag in AZ for cow elk, so pending other draws will be doing that.
Also applied for said oldest son in NM for elk, deer, and oryx. Those might be the destination if he gets one or more of those.
Applied for my dad in CO for elk and mule deer to try to burn his points there and go while we still can.
I applied for long-shot moose in CO and NH myself, but obviously don't expect to draw. If I would draw in NH I would assign either my dad or son as the sub-designee and have them be the shooter.
Ultimately, I'll have to see what tags get drawn before final decisions.

At home in MN, it is my oldest son's first year eligible to hunt, so will be focused on giving him opportunities at deer during the youth season and regular firearm season.

If my son can't hunt the whole time, I might try for a deer at home, but hopefully we'll already have plenty of meat, so I will just be sight seeing :)

For sure hunting Kodiak and Alberta. Applying in almost all the Western states for something. WY deer is about the only likely thing I'll draw with points. Would be happy with anything else.
