Thats one for future campfires. Remember 2020 season? Took a real nice deer. Just keep the story going for a while to get the anticipation up then bam! Easiest deer kill ever.

I once hit and killed a small WT buck in the pre-dawn dark *on the way to my deer stand.* I had driven into town for a coffee and smacked the little bugger taking a different road to my property than usual. Such a weird deal. A gentleman was walking his dog and saw it happen; he wanted to let his dog blood trail it so we did. Pup found the buck about twenty yards away in someone's orchard. Strange and ironic. Ate the deer though!
