Gear room hack - retractable drying line
I had a rope rigged up in my gear room for drying tents, clothing, and other gear. It sagged pretty badly and looked like hell. My wife suggested I install a retractable clothesline. Brilliant lady. I was worried it would sag. But I found one called Gorilla Line that uses plastic coated braided stainless line. Works fantastic and retracts out of the way when you are done using it. Almost no sag. The spool box is only about 5 inches high and 1 inch thick. $30. I have no affiliation with the company.
Extra points if you ID the object hanging on the far left of the line.
