Gear room hack - retractable drying line
I had a rope rigged up in my gear room for drying tents, clothing, and other gear. It sagged pretty badly and looked like hell. My wife suggested I install a retractable clothesline. Brilliant lady. I was worried it would sag. But I found one called Gorilla Line that uses plastic coated braided stainless line. Works fantastic and retracts out of the way when you are done using it. Almost no sag. The spool box is only about 5 inches high and 1 inch thick. $30. I have no affiliation with the company.

Extra points if you ID the object hanging on the far left of the line.

 5 points for creativity in identifying the mystery object. I'm sure there are a bunch of forum members who own one of these.

Bingo.

What pack? This piece is not installed for a very specific reason that will be known to all who run the latest version of my brand of pack.
Mine is an Alps pack, and I bang my head on it when there's any weight on there lol
