Anybody have feedback on using one of the Garret Pinpoint detectors for tungsten shot? Shot a turkey with some TSS 7/9 shot a few days back.
The 9's are sneaky small.

Thanks^yes, it will work. but you have scan SUPER thoroughly. if a pellet is more than inch deep, it can be Hard to detect. never shot 9s, but have shot 8.5s and 8s for over a decade. I dropped to 8s because of the pellets in meat issue.
one thing I do to help is label the packages. if I know theres several shot in breast, ill label it as "cut up" and know to spend a lot of time scanning. if I suspect no or very few pellets, ill label it accordingly.
Im more worried about others biting into shot than me. wife has already chipped a tooth. so if im cooking turkey, im always taking the time to scan it.
