Fusiom ammo

Anyone used fusion ammo on elk ? Ive dropped 2 mule deer 3 white tail in there tracks with my .270 win 150 gr,

Haven't used it, but thought about it for my new 7mm08, no time to work up a load before season. Went with tried and true remmy core lokts. How did those Fusion bullets hold up once they hit the animule?

I've used them out of my 7-08 with great success. As to how they hold up, I've only found one out of the 6 or 7 animals I've shot with them. Mostly find golf ball size exit holes (all shots under 100 yards) and no fragments in the animal.

Killed several deer with them and last years elk as well. The bullets I've found have looked great and retained lots of weight. Really under rated bullet IMO.

My hunting buddy has used the 150 grain fusions out of his .270 the last couple years with really good results. He's killed a couple whitetail and a cow elk with no problems. The elk was at 350ish and the bullets still performed really well.

I bet core lokt sales have plummeted the last couple years with these being on the market.
