So. I’m late to the party, but am very thankful I took Randy’s advice for a shelter-in-place activity. “Watch Fresh Tracks Season 7 on Amazon Prime.” Yay!!

My 86-year-old father moved to AK to be with us this year after living, hunting, and hiking the hills in NW Wyoming and SE Wyoming for 50 years. I wonder about homesickness and cabin fever settling into his heart. (Even though his view now out onto the Chilkat River flats and Cathedral Peaks is inspiring.) But, he’s wheelchair bound now. I asked him this morning if watching Randy made him homesick. He said, “It makes me want to get out there again.” When asked if it hurt or helped his heart, he replied, “Watching Randy is how I can get out again. Just turn up the volume when the elk are bugling. When are you going to put in for your elk tag? You better get on it.” Oh. My. Heart.

Thank you, Randy and Team, for your work, passion, humor, and example. You help many far and wide.

BTW - In Alaska, we don’t have shelter-in-place. We have “Hunker Down.” We’ve been hunkering.

Hot dam, I thought the Vikings would win a Super Bowl before they ever got around to approving those two. We have four more in the hopper, but the way Amazon does it, if you add even one more, all of them get delayed.

@Big Fin I've never watched the amazon versions, I figured since I'd seen the day-by-days I wasn't missing anything. Not true Sir. Those amazon ones are very high quality. I really liked Ep 1 with Ray. Great video.
