Take away one of either their new free agents guard Frees or Center Kelly, and also take away either cb Murphy Jr. or DTs Allen and Hargrave.

Vikings could not have signed them all had they given Darnold the contract Seattle gave him.

So then compare Darnold behind an O line not nearly as good as Seattle's and the one he had in Seattle.

I’m not arguing with letting him go. It could be true that it was good for all parties. The Vikings are waiting to see though. The Hawks are seeing it right now. I don’t think Sam is a top flight qb, but he’s good enough in our system. Russ was the same and we won a Bowl with him.

Agree...so many fans want to compare to a Mahomes or Josh Allen...well they are rare as hens teeth.

Seattle's a tough place to play...good D and a running game and you don't need a Mahomes or Allen. Although Darnold has as much arm talent...consistency and mistakes have been his problem. A team where he doesn't gave to do it all...like he had to with the Vikings unable to run and poor O line..is perfect for him...not surprised at his success there.
