My 12 year old son, Sam, was fortunate to draw an antelope tag this past season. Our hunt had a few ups and downs, like most hunts do, but it all came together in the end and we were pretty happy thrilled with the whole adventure.
Put together a short video from the hunt if anyone wants to watch how it played out. Hope you enjoy!

Congratulations! Thats a lot of fun and some great meat!
You are very right! Out of all the wild game we eat in our house (Elk, whitetail, mule deer, and antelope) an antelope back strap steak is by far my favorite! Extremely tender and very tasty. They get a bad rap from a lot of people, but I believe that is mostly due to leaving the hide on too long and not getting the meat boned and cooled fast. Lots of guys talk about how you can't run them, eating sage, blah, blah, blah, but I think that the real issue is poor field care and leaving their stinky, murky hide on too long.
