First bear attack in AZ

I was listening to the local news and they reported the first bear attack in AZ. It happen this last weekend down in Tucson. The man was camping and the bear attack biting him in the head, neck and back and arms.

I guess if you are planning to go camping better be well armed they are coming out or are out of their long winter sleep.

Lady Hunter - this must be the first attack of the year, right? My brother is a biologist with USFWS, and did his master's thesis on black bears after a lot of fieldwork. He always says that if a black bear attacks you (unles you've come between a sow and her cubs or you've wounded it), fight like heck, because a black bear attacking is definitely trying to eat you!
