Fire season is here in the west

August 21 all BLM lands go into Stage 1 fire restrictions in Lemhi, Custer and Butte counties in Idaho.
New fire in Copper Basin called Muldoon 200 ac so far.
Oregon east side keeps getting more and more fires.
Lightning next 2 days in Cali, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho and so forth.
Bear Creek fire on the Idaho/Montana line at the Lemhi pass area is 5,000 or so. Fire is running eastward.
After today who knows how many fires will be going.
Area is seeing records highs upper 90's and extremely dry fuels.
Be smart don't park on dry grass and NO campfires!

Been extremely hot & smokey here. All the west's smoke is spinning thru NM. Very dry for mid Aug.,our rainy season.....
