Favorite call and why?

Turkey season is almost among us, time to pull out the calls and get a few practice sessions in beforehand. I prefer mouth calls personally. Mouth calls so I don't have to move and can hit those loud yelps and soft purs when I need to and so I can get to full draw and still call if needed. What about everyone else?

My favorite would half to be the mouth call opens march 31 for us I been counting it down since about 60 some days

The 31st here too, I'm right there counting with you. I get fired up every day at work the toms are strutting all day

I use HeirLoom box or slate depending on birds mood to bring them fairly close, then close with anyones mouth calls that were on sale at Wal Mart....

Mouthcall, I gotta wait until May for MN archery turkey.

I have a bunch of mouth calls, one box call, and a glass slate. But my favorite is my regular ol' slate call. Seems I always have a mouth call in my mouth but 80% of the time I'm using my slate.

Haven't been turkey hunting in 5 years since moving to AK, prior to that I chased turkey for 20 seasons. Headed back to Pennsylvania this May to hunt my ol' stomping grounds. Can't wait!
