I started at 226 and 2 weeks into it I weighed in for this "HUNTTALK.COM" fat off... and was at 220, Today scale says 218. So I'm on par with 1-pointer at 2#'s... 2#'s a week for the next 7 weeks is only 204. I think my goal was 200... Might not make it ?!?!
I jumped on the scales this morning and weighed in at 250 even. I was excited but my wife says that the first 5-10lbs come off pretty easy the rest of it I'll have to work for. Moosie I put your name in the hat for a-pie-a-week drawing. Hope you win.
Well my first week was just great with a grand total of 9 lbs. Lets hope the rest of the weeks go as good. The Atkins diet has worked well for me so far. And laying off the beer helps alot.
I'm thinking that I should have gotten into this. Since I've changed my "life style" three months ago, I've dropped 32lbs.
I've got plenty more to go and I think that if I had more incentive I could drop 15 lbs or more a month.
Then I would be the one kicking a$$ and taking names.
Good luck you guys sounds like you all are doing great on the dieting.I concurr with Flipper about the physical labor maybe get out and do some yard work every night that may help ya
I'm keeping my info close to the vest. It keeps Meathead wondering.
Actually, 1_p has all of my updates if he ever wants to update his chart. I'll have no internet access weekdays for the next three weeks, so I'll be updating on Saturdays.
That is awsome Meathead...Keep up the good work, you will be richly rewarded when you make you Wy run...There are lots of hills and places you may want to investigate...
If you want to do some thing that will help a lot on your wind endurance, start jumproping...
Looks kind of silly, but it works very well.
Do three sets of as many as you can with only enough time in between to catch your breath, 3-5 times a week. You will see a noticable improvement in a very short time and it will come in handy when you are running the mountains at the 9-12K' level..
