Fall season has begun

My fall hunting season officially started on Tuesday. Took a couple boys out after school for an evening hunt. Although the hunting wasn't as fast and furious as hoped for they made some shots and we bagged enough for the grill.

Yes, all mourning out here. However there are spots with a lot of non native Eurasian Collared doves. Almost the size of a city pigeon and seem to act like them, hanging out around people more than open fields and orchards.

One of my favorite hunting memories from my youth is dove hunting. You are making lifetime memories with those boys. Good for you! That's awesome!
