I'm very happy with Winchester 180 grain Power Max and they're only $20 a box! Didn't know there were this many 30/06 shooters around anymore since nowadays it takes a 300 RUM at a minimum to kill a prairie dog.

I don't reload so I shoot factory ammo. My Rem 700 likes the 165 grain Corlokt's, not a great bullet by any means but works well when you hit where it counts. I may try a different ammo manufacture but the cost of the Remmington ammo makes easier on the wallet to shoot more.

I have a lot of good brass I should load Accubonds & Barnes with.
And I believe the 30-06 is still in the top of big game calibers all time used list,the 270 or 30-30 the other.
