Extended Seasons

Ohio basically expanded the deer season by 2 weeks. Deer population must be up plus they are trying to give more opportunities for the guys and gals who can hunt only on weekends. They also added another weekend for shotgun. The season starts September 30 and last day will be February 4th.

Over the counter tags are cool.

How is your dates set..are there more chances to hunt?

Our seasons are still the same length (short!), but they changed the regs so that doe tags in many units are now "B" tags. All buck tags are "A" tags. You can have 1 A tag and 1 B tag each year. Our seasons range from 5 to nine days, except archery, which is a month long.

sept 15 thru jan 31st.

seems to be something new every year.
we are allowed 42 deer in the region i hunt and you phone in for check in now.......some ares no limit on doe.
whats next, maybe pay me to thin um out?

Bow season is Sept 15-Jan 15th. Closed during the week and half of rifle season.
