Elk Mount

Finally got word that my elk mount from 05 is ready now the problem is how to get it back home from Colorado to Virginia? Anybody ever use a freight system or would fed ex be the way to go?? Maybe air freight?? UPS?? any suggestions without breaking the bank??

Find a common carrier that ships from Co. to Va.. Much cheaper, but will take a little while longer. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you ship the cape and antlers to Va. and have it done there?

Sturge. I don't mind helping out the locals and the guy there does great work. I don't mount many animals so the cost I can justify to myself. Now if I was killin as many critters as some I would do just as you suggested. Thanks for the info on the frieght and that is what I will look into.

Iv'e got a crate shipping cross country right now with Yellow Frieght. It isn't cheap, but so far they have handled me and my phone calls professionally. Hopefully, they treat my crate just as good, I'll know on thursday.
