Elk at the VLA in NM

While I was hunting the unit south of where I work (the Very Large Array), a coworker shot this photo. That size of a herd would have made my cow hunt much easier!

So that's where the "Normal" elk went. Beam them over Ephram....

I seem to have the vampire bitten ones here lately. They disappear at 1st light & come out after dark now.......& I have a tag.....lol.

Our 2nd cow hunt was nuts due to the same thing in south 17 - the road hunters were really whining that they couldn't see them and we could only find them in their beds away from the roads. Go figure.
