Well now I have an antelope hunt for this year. Going to go up in a few weeks and scout. Have been putting in for Juniper for years, but the last few years I have not heard much good news about it. This will be my first time in the ares, but I have some good starter points from a taxidermist I know. And the scouting trip will help a lot.

I've hunted it numerous times for pronghorn and once for bighorn sheep. I love that country! We've always stuck in the Pueblos and we have never had any trouble killing pretty bucks. Nothing exceptional but it is a great public land adventure. The real smoker bucks are down by Roaring Springs Ranch in the alfalfa pivots. No idea on getting access there because that kind of hunting doesn't appeal to me but if your not opposed to it that is where the hogs live.

If you don't figure out a game plan on your scouting mission send me an email and I will try and help you out a little....

Good luck! Post up some pics of your scouting mission when you get back...

Keeping my fingers crossed that we have Wyoming tags this year.
