I think this is the right thing to do. When you screw up you should step up to the plate and say so. I think in general people respect that, I know that I do.
You mean like allowing the insergents to walk away from this so-called shrine(read weapons warehouse) scott free?? Didn't the Generals learn ANYTHING from allowing the Iraqi army to do the same?? Every one of those weapons has come back to bite our troops in the ass!! And so will these "innocents". Within a week they will have a bomb strapped to their ass looking for "God's reward"!!
