As obvious as this statement sounds, "You cannot go elk hunting if you don't have a tag." Every summer I get a ton of emails from people asking where they can go elk hunting. Since they have then missed the drawing deadlines, their choices are quite limited. For that reason, the first nine episodes of ELK TALK we have done focus on drawing tags. Two states have already passed (WY and AZ), with Utah coming up very soon.

In the next month, the following state tag drawing deadlines will pass. Here are the ELK TALK videos we have created and put on YouTube for each state that is upcoming, with NV and ID soon to be posted up on our YouTube page:

Utah - Deadline March 3rd

Montana - Deadline March 15th

Really enjoy these Randy! I thought I had a pretty good understanding of each state but I have learned something from each episode. Thanks for doing them

Thanks for posting these videos. Just watched the Colorado video. I applied in Colorado for 6 years as a resident, until 2013 when I swore off the state and moved north. I used to apply for unit 40 since I lived in and scouted that area, and if I would have continued applying for a tag I would have already drawn a late season rifle tag. I starting back in the draw with either 5 or 6 points, so maybe in another few I draw my oil unit 40 tag. Good luck in the draw guys.
