Twelve 200 spine Sirius Apollos
  • 29 5/8 carbon-to-carbon
  • 200grn ethics sleeve insert components (add about an inch)
  • insert tuned/nock tuned for my compound
  • left offset fletching w/ wraps (easy removal if refletching)
  • all have been shot into targets; none into animals or dirt (unfortunately)
  • with a 150grn broadhead they go about 730grns/20+%foc
Did an extreme build for a 2020 hunt, but have since done a slightly lighter build for better all-around use.

730 gr? What was the hunt that fell through, T-rex?
Ha! I guess I got over exuberant on my first build and just wanted to see what my bow could max at. Why I decided to do it to 12 arrows... who knows?

The hunt didn't fall through. Was an ID elk hunt during which the elk didn't want to cooperate. Like I said, now that I've seen the max I did a second "light" build (555grns) that is way more balanced.
