Wow, even the Wyoming State DEQ doesn't care
“They will do anything to avoid admitting that there is tons of cow shit in our water”

“I’ve collected E. coli data across multiple states over multiple decades, and basically there is no place where cows have access to a waterbody and it does not violate Clean Water Act standards.”

Is the limit for E coli bacteria too low? Or?

In those “secondary-contact recreation” streams the regulatory standard for Escherichia coli bacteria — also known as E. coli — was upped five-fold to 630 colony-forming units per 100 milliliters by the DEQ.

The Environmental Protection Agency sets the E. coli limit on primary-contact recreation waters at 126 colony-forming units per 100 milliliters, a threshold set to protect health and human safety

I saw these guys right there while grouse hunting. They didn’t care about me being there either. Then that band of sheep came up the draw. I’m better it was lamb chops for dinner!!
