Im gonna try the desert once again this year in maury unit in central oregon 2nd season,,,leave in a week,,,ill see what i can do

like the area,,,alot of forested units get hit hard with extreme pressure,,,got lucky and drew this maury#2 tag with only a 30-40% chance acording to draw book.have scouted it some in september but didnt find much for elk sign.They gotta be there somewhere,,,gonna try the wilderness study areas on blm to get away from people,,,only 65 tags so hopefully hunters will be thin.also hope some weather will come in by nov 8th starter.
