Well last week during our family camping trip my son and I managed to get in a few days of scouting area 111-113 for his archery deer tag. We found a basin full of bucks and a few real monster bucks. I think the reason they are there is because you can't drive to it and you can't see anything from the end of the road. It requires several hours of hiking and a lot of elevation gain so it's not for the faint of heart. If you weren't on the mountain when it got light you would be too late to see the bucks, as soon as the sun hit them, they meandered towards their bedding areas and they didn't come back out until very late in the evening. There was one little buck hanging around the campground posing for pictures.
Hopefully we will have time to hunt the basin after he gets his antelope since the seasons overlap a bit.
