I've never tried a decoy on elk. I know a few guys that have them, but I guess I've never heard them talk about the decoy really being the thing that closed the deal on a bull. I've been thinking about getting one, but I thought I'd put it out there to see what sort of experiences - either good or bad, you guys have had with trying to use a decoy when hunting elk.
