Here is a buck that was found this morning while I was out shed hunting it is a nice 4x4 with eye guards buck

The Game and fish checked it out for me split the femur bone to check the health of the dead buck and said judging by the condition of the bone marrow in the femur it was in good health when it died they figured it died in late October by a hunters misplaced shoot the was evidence of trauma from a gun shoot in the animals hide around the back bone they ended up giving us a tag that must always stay on the antler and they let us keep the head

Awesome find!! I would be more than happy to find a buck like that dead, heck I would even be happy finding a little buck dead. Even though I would much rather see them live on to see the next hunting season.

It would also be nice to find him in my cross hairs during hunting season in an area where I could legally shoot him.

Why is that?? Our deer here in California only have about that much meat on a big bodied one.
