CVA accura sight recommendations

I am using the factory fiber optic sight. I gave up on globes. I found that I didn’t shoot it any better and had a hard time getting the front sight bright enough.

Same here. I went down the same peep/globe rabbit hole many others did from that Go Hunt article several years back.

I kept the peep but went back to the regular fiber post in front.

I have an accura mrx with williams globe and peep.

I like the front globe with fiber optic. I ordered the crosshair inserts and really anticipated using them, but me and the wife and I both shot better with the fiber optic. I've since ordered the smaller fiber optic diameter to try, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I did put silver sharpe on the face of the globe sight to make centering it and the peep easier.

I don't particularly like the collapsible ram rod. I would rather just have the rod on the gun.
But, if you do get the model with a separate rod, be sure to order a backup rod. I ordered an aluminum one. Don't remember where from. But good thing I did, since I lost the carbon fiber while hunting.
The silver face helps. Also highly recommend spray painting the inside of the globe with high gloss white paint. I did that before gave up on the globe completely and while I prefer a post fiber optic, it helped a lot.
