Looking for recommendations/avoid Guide list for Cozumel. Not looking to troll for sailfish or marlin. Thinking more for bottom fishing. Beginning of August time frame. Thanks

We used fishing with Ivan but from playa. Fished down to reef, snorkeled and fished back. Great day but we didn’t catch anything.

It's been many years since I've been there but every deep sea trip I've taken, both trolling and bottom fishing, were very lack luster. Good on you for researching ahead of time. Fished the flats for bonefish a few times and had a blast. Went with a guy named Nacho. Actually stumbled across his business card a few days ago. I'll PM you a picture of his card.
