Concealed carry insurance

I was researching uscca (united states concealed carry association). Among some member benefits they have insurance for firearm theft and also insurance for legal help if you would ever have to use a firearm for self defense. I think its a good idea to have. Any thoughts or information on this?

No kidding. I asked my insurance agent at Allstate about it and he never got back to me- figured he didn't want to try and cover that as he had never heard of it being a 'thing'

There a good book that talks about it. I believe it's called "Deadly force and your right to use it" or something like that very good read though. Anyone who carries ought to have it on their shelf.

I believe membership in NRA also affords you the same, but I don't know how much coverage.

Looking at the NRA website and could not find any information on it.

While its probably money well spent, It's pretty sad that we need this insurance....
