This PC is impregnated with some pop upad "spyware" that I can't get rid of. Windows XP Pro, Interntet Explorer.

I run udated versions of Spybot, Adaware, Easycleaner, and full McAfee scans and still can't get it out.

Can anyone suggest the next step for a semiliterate PC user?

TIA,

Bill

Dude stop looking at the PORN LOL

Feclnogen,

CWS said I was clean, but gave links to Microsoft patches that I needed. It has taken care of the problem.

THANKS!!!!!!

Try the "Hijack This" software which will identify each potential problem line by line and let you choose what to remove. Also you may use the Windows explorer and do it the old fashioned way. Takes a lot of time and may involve multiple files and programs with deceiving names which are difficult to identify. If you really really want problems do a Google Search for "Teensge pregnant, overweight, hairy Russian midget wresteling bimbos!"

Btw, I wish it was porn...

At least I would be able to watch while I was getting screwed.

Aw Westman, it's all porn; just various degrees on the Likert scale of every individual's mental concept of normal.
