Colorado's former CPW Director, who was in charge of the Wolf reintroduction, has moved to Wyoming. He's the new Deputy Director for Wyomings Fish and Game Department.

Same. He was never able to apply science-based wildlife management to Colorado because he was under the thumb of the anti-hunting Gov Polis’ administration, including “Wildlife Czar” Marlon Reis and DNR Director Spineless Dan Gibbs.I think the reality is he got booted from the circus for not playing the part.
I'm happy for him.
I'll agree with you, He really wasn't the problemSame. He was never able to apply science-based wildlife management to Colorado because he was under the thumb of the anti-hunting Gov Polis’ administration, including “Wildlife Czar” Marlon Reis and DNR Director Spineless Dan Gibbs.
He was sent packing because he was deemed too favorable to sportsmen and agriculture.
Best of luck to him. I suspect the WY Gov will actually allow him to do his job.
Oh yeah. Who can forget how this all began? Gov’s office and DNR said Davis “stepped down”. Only after media inquiries did the truth come out, he was being terminated and chose to resign in lieu of. A glimpse into the lies and malfeasance of the Polis-Reis-Gibbs administration.<sarcasm> But I thought Polis was going to keep him on as a special assistant...lol. Lies, lies, and more lies. I hate the BS, but for his sake, I almost hope he can keep getting paid by CO while he's working in WY.
