Colorado Leftover Archery Muley

My Canadian moose hunt in got canceled due to Covid.....looking to possibly pick up a leftover CO archery mule deer tag. Just looking to get out and hunt. Any suggestions on a respectable unit to try?

Look at the leftover list when it comes out, the few otc deer units are otc for a reason, anything left in the secondary draw isn’t great. Returned tags will hit the leftover list daily on a first come first served basis. If your diligent in keeping an eye on the list and do some unit research you should be able to end up with a great tag. Even the week before the season great tags hit the list...

I saw a 591 tag hit the leftover last year. Was gone in tops 2 minutes. Not a great tag to some but at the time I was stationed at ft Carson. So like snow said keep a eye on the list and have everything ready so you can buy it right away

The way the weather is this year, look for a unit that isn't migration dependent.
