Anyone have advice on hunting elk in this unit. It will be my first time here in the 2nd rifle season in October. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I see no one has replied to this. I have hunted this unit several times in the past. 2nd season will be tough for elk. The elk usually move out of the mountains to the west when the weather moves in. My suggestion is hunting near the Wyoming border and try to find some hard to get to places.
