Colorado Dove hunt?

Hey y'all,

Was wondering if anyone is interested in going dove hunting in Colorado?

I'm new to hunting (you can read the whole intro here if ya like https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/co...o-hunting-i-have-oh-so-many-questions.308133/)
Looking for any help finding good spots to go check out and if anyone is interested in joining? Right now planning on checking out Wellington and Simmons SWAs but no idea what to expect.

Indeed I did! Was pretty successful too. Probably shot 25-30 birds over a couple weekends. Really looking forward to Sept 1st!

Dove hunting in Colorado sounds pretty good to this Texan. Pouring sweat usually every September just looking for the first bird I get down.

It's the same here. Last dove opener I shot was 95 degrees before noon. Only thing that helps is the sunrise start.

Y’all got the humidity? That’s what gets you here. I take a dry heat all day. Usually by mid to late September it’s a lot better when we get that 1st wave of northern winds and birds.

Nice, we hit Wellington last year and it wasn't too good for opener at least. We are changing things up this year and heading more east.
