Our Colorado success rate on bruins is around 9%. You could pay to access some great ground and if your success is based on punching a tag, you have a 91% chance of being unhappy.

Find acorns, find berries, find water, and you should have bears that time of year. Good luck.

Thanks for some information 30338. That is why I posted here. Looks to be a lot of Private land. I was hoping for some information regarding trespass. As you mention the success rate is not very high and the lack of public land surely makes those percentage go down.

Colorado is one of the few states that allow refunds on tags. If you cannot find land to hunt on, return the tags. Good luck either way.
