This year i will be hunting these areas for a bull. What kinda bulls does this area hold? Should i pass up a 4x4 and wait for a bigger bull or take the first legal bull i see? Any and all comments will help me out. Thanks!!!

Depends on what you call a big bull and how bad you want one. I hunted the area 3rd season once for deer and did see some 6 pointers. I have also hunted it several times for Dec cow season. I alwas see some 6 pointers in Dec. This area is more of a winter range than a home range so you will probably see more later than earlier in the season. I have noticed a big difference between early and late Dec for total elk seen.

Alrit yea i think ill take the 1st " good bull " i see ( a good bull is a legal bull). But if i see dont see anything and happen to run into a cow later in the season( as i do have an either sex tag) ill have no problem putting some some meat on the ground! Thank you for all your information.
