Quick question, in the past if you bought a CO fishing license you could get the preference points for free. This year it looks like I have to buy a hunting license as well?? Am I seeing this right?

Kinda, they changed up the rules. You need a turkey license or a small game license.

Sorry for being terse, yes you have to buy a small game license or turkey, no fishing alone doesn’t count. Point for deer/elk are free MSG are $50 residents and $100 nonresidents.

I am pretty sure they are "free" but you have to pay a 9$ transaction fee for bonus points.
