Starting my research on Colorado deer and elk hunting and I came up with looking at these units for deer. They seem to be pretty nice and have most of what I'm looking for except all the roads. I'm looking at the Colorado atlas and there seems to be a lot of roads in these units. Are these roads for atv use or are they drive able roads or just closed roads? It seems like it will be hard to get away from people or am I missing something? Thanks

It's tough to say without putting boots on the ground. A unit in CO I hunt had a lot of roads according to Google Earth and the Hunt Atlas. After putting boots on the ground I found that these roads hadn't been used in awhile and one was covered in deer tracks from a recent snow. Sometimes you can tell on Google earth if there are downed trees or something like that in the road that would signify it hasn't been used.
