Colorado 3rd season deer hunt.

Hi all I am currently doing my research for my Colorado applications. I have enough points to draw a unit 171 3rd rifle season deer tag. I am just wondering if the deer have moved into the private property by then or will they still be on public land. I am NOT asking for anyone's spots if you regularly hunt there. Just curious if I I'm wasting my time. Also I'm not overly concerned with antler size just want to have a fun hunt and have a decent opportunity at taking a deer.

I've never hunted that unit but typically in 3rd season the deer will probably start cruising around starting to look for does
