Hey Reggae-These radios work really good out in the field.Took them up hiking the other day,I was getting right around 2.25 miles of range in the woods which is better than the 2 mile range.I used them off and on for most of the day and the battery was still at full power.These radios have 14 cannels with 38 subchannels so you have alot of room with channels and it also comes with belt clips for each radio.I give these radios thumbs up.
