Hey folks,

Former CO resident here (reluctantly living in CA). A friend was considerate enough to schedule their wedding in Colorado in late September, so I'm taking the opportunity to go a week early to chase our favorite 4 legged critters with a bow in hand.

I've torn up unit 43 on google earth and I'm hoping to run my ideas by someone who's familiar with the unit. Not asking for your go-to spots, just looking for someone to let me know if my ideas are hot or cold.

Happy to hop on a call or go back and forth on here.

Hope all of your fall seasons are prosperous

Alec

I'll be hunting there 1st rifle, but have never hunted there before. Like you, I've been google earthing hard and have a few spots I'd like to check out. Mostly the high country east and southeast of Redstone. I hope to get in a scouting trip this summer at some point, but that may not be until August or September.

Never hunted 43, but I hike there alot. It's a beautiful piece of real estate. Late September is an awesome time to be there. Crowding can be significant around Sopris, especially on the weekends.
