CO Elk hunt or not? What would you do?

If you don't get enough enjoyment from being out there learning to blend with nature, learning from mistakes, feeling that rush of excitement every time an elk bugles, the thrill you get from seeing grouse, turkeys,deer etc walk by while trying to arrow an elk. I guess if you don't love it enough to go you should try golf. For me though it is worth it every time. It is in my blood and I love every experience. My passion is whitetail deer, followed by lion coyotes and fishing. I hunt Elk too and love it. At least 45 deer seasons are in my past and now they are one at a time. The excitement is still there,but filling the tag is no longer important.Watching a young 3 or 4 pt buck sneak by me and feeling the anticipation of a big 5 or 6 pt buck coming behind is the reward worthy of my time. So if you love hunting - GET OUT THERE AND HAVE SOME FUN LEARNING.
