CO Deer tag exchange? Aug 2nd.

So I didn't draw a archery tag in the unit I wanted but did draw a tag in another limited unit through the July leftover licenses draw. As it turns out the leftover list just came out and there are tags avail in the original unit I wanted. Can I exchange my tag I have now in for the tag I want on the leftover list on Aug 2nd?

You can, but it will need to be in person at a CPW office. Obviously many of the available tags will go quickly, so you better be at the front of the line and have a customer service agent that is on the ball.
