CO area 421 Cow Elk

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of doing a 4th season Rifle Cow hunt in 421. I just want to fill my freezer and not familiar with the area.
This is a OTC tag. Can anyone please give me some tips or ideas of where to go? if not this unit is there one that would be better. I do know that there will be a lot of other hunters in the area. thanks for the help.

I've not hunted 421 that late. I would anticipate a lot of hunters.

Elk should be moving from hi to lower country, I'd try to find migration routes and focus my efforts there.

Also, just fyi, that's a limited leftover tag, not an OTC.
