Noting several errors: If your desired hunt code has an asterisk indicating it was leftover after 1st draw, double check on the statistics page. 1st glance I found these units listed as having leftovers: EE00401A, EF00301R, every EM049 rifle code. They all were gone after 1st drawing in '16. Caveat emptor.

And once again Colorado has continued to punish the non-resident by increasing the fees for elk tags. At some point they will price people out of the game which has a ripple effect in terms of losing advocates for public land, hunting, and conservation. Non residents are floating way more then their share when it comes to these prices and the price hikes are ridiculous!

Oh for the love of god... is this going to be the third thread today locked for this crap

Believe it or not, I requested an increase to resident fees this year. Always do, never happens. Many others did likewise. NR fees in CO are tied to the Consumer Price Index, which tRump has promised to reduce, so count on a HUGE drop in NR tag prices next year.

This is because Non-Resident license fees are tied by law to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and adjust accordingly (rounded to the nearest $5 increment). Thus this years $5 (0.8%) increase

I noticed last year there was a EE00401a in leftovers. It must be tags that are turned back in. I think they may have changed that last year so the tags go back up for sale in leftovers.
