As the title suggests, what’s the closest fires to Belgrade and Bozeman? It’s glowing orange outside.. I know the states on fire but this smoke has gotten really bad just over the course of today…

Here you go. They are all listed. Last I heard most of the smoke that we are getting is from the big Dixie fire in California. There are a couple big fires on the MT/ID border too.

Here's a little secret for you Bozeman folk, or anyone really. The most up-to-date datasets online for fire occurrence that are publicly available are the WildCAD dispatch center reports. You can literally see where and why wildland resources are dispatched in your area as they are dispatched. It’s a great way to find out about emerging incidents. Here's Bozeman's:
