Chukar smack down

[Idaho Ron]

I took Gretta out today for a real chukar hunt today. We got our first rain and snow for about the last 60 days. I went to a canyon that is normally good hunting after some snow. Gretta had 18 points sadly I had a bad day of shooting. I did get 8 chukar and 4 quail but it was tough. Gretta was on fire today, she was pointing like a big dog. It was so fun to watch this puppy transform into a bird dog. She has had some good hunts but this trip was like all the rest condenced into one great experience. I think she will make it. TK,I hunt in the south central part of the state. If we could get a little more snow it would be super. Ron
